‘Fly Away’ Collection

The Fly Away Collection begins with a subtle moment of uplift — that decisive shift when something inside you stirs, expands, and leans toward possibility. Each piece traces the elegant motion of wings, feathers or birds, capturing the instant where stillness becomes movement and intention becomes flight.

Inspired by my Art History studies in Paris, this collection draws on the delicate lines, expressive contours and fluid motions of natural forms of Art Nouveau and the Art and Craft movement (René Lalique’s jewellery, Alphonse Mucha or William Morris). Fused with the dramatic lettering of calligraphy writing, I re-interpret the floating sensations of wings and feathers as metaphor to invite the wearer to write their own story, to feel the breeze that guides them.

I use intricate saw-piercing and engraving to create vivid silhouettes and curvilinear shapes. I like to play with the space in between, with shadows and with the way the piece can envelop the body and become part of it. A wing in motion, a feather caught mid‑flight, a bird rising toward possibility: these miniature poetic symbols whisper ideas of movement, transformation and courage. They become amulets, lucky charm or talisman for following our own dreams, and embracing life’s ever-changing paths. These ethereal forms ultimately carry messages of strength and freedom to everyone on a journey.
