Six gifted artisans, including three Artweeks newcomers, will showcase exciting and often unexpected talents in utilising basic raw materials to craft handmade creations during Oxfordshire Artweeks.
The diverse Heritage Crafts Coleshill group of skilled makers will be ready to share their work, knowledge and stories at the National Trust’s Heritage and Rural Skills Centre at Coleshill in early May. They form an unusual collection of interests and perspectives, all found in a single venue!
Steel, textiles, gold and silver, glass, wood and timber, leather, gemstones, copper, paper, earthy materials, paint and more go through fascinating handcrafting processes to produce the outstanding range of works.
You will discover work by jeweller Chloe Romanos, by textile artist Amanda Benstead, metal sculptures by Andy Bunyan & Andy Breeze, bellows by Anne Mills, stained glass by Marie Ward and woodwork by PDK wood products.
